POST PRAC SYNDROME

Argh, having major post prac sydrome right now :( Knowing that I can't spend my mornings with my K2s & Adam being all manja with me, throwing me truckloads of tight hugs, i love yous & kisses everywhere (lips, hand, cheeks).

If I had to choose between school & doing prac FOC, I'll choose Prac over school. Prac wins hands down for sure! It's amazing what those lil ones do unintentionally to make your day. Every single one of them, little angels sent from heaven. All the love & joy that they bring, you can only smile about it because that kind of love that they bring, is indescribable.

This week was really good! (: Brought the boy to HV to have dinnz with my grandma & aunt! Yayy, my grandma loves him! It was so funny how she asked "why he so black?". My ultimate wish: For the people I love (esp my fammy), to see him the way I do & understand why I love him so and everything else beneath that gorgeous face & body (;

Things that Love does to us, it's so magical hehehe.

Celebrated Chong Yong's birthday on Saturday & everything that I wanna say is written in the card I gave. To sum it up, I was really glad to see Chong Yong so happy & enjoying himself with the clique over dinnz. And yes, I can finally cancel Korean BBQ on my to-do list because I have never ever ate at a Korean BBQ place except for when I was in Korea. The food was really good & affordable and I got my chance to cook the meat :D And and I also got relieve the inner kid in me when we headed over to Toys R Us!! I had no idea what got into me but I was bugging the boy to go inside & take a look because it's been so long since I actually set foot inside that kids heaven.

Gonna spend the day at the boy's after post prac tut (which I think is a waste of time) & I'm all stoked for some quality time with my favourite fella hehs. The programme for this week is looking good, back to visit the kiddos, class chalet & my dinnz treat for my boy!

That's how we are 95% of the time.

Just those lil things that will make you smile & gush. Hahah this is the reason why kids will never disappoint you, they'll only make your day. The simple kind of love.

Glass Shield.

My thoughts are all over the place now & a thought-organizer machine thingy should really be invented because I think I'm in need of that right now. So let's see what's in my head:

good thoughts, bad thoughts, how computer games should be banned, the hols are ending boohoo, all the dates/appointment I have for the next few weeks, people that I need to meet, things I need to do, practicum tasks & things I need to get started on.

I foresee myself taking a fair bit of time drafting this post because my thoughts are just all over the place. But first, the chalet I attended over the weekend. It was really good & it was sucha good way to unwind & let loose with the guys & boy. And of course, it was great getting to know Kaiwen's fammy better, esp with his sissy. Hahah, this is gonna sound a lil weird but I actually like the idea of having an older sister! Maybe its because I'm the oldest & I never had an older sister figure, like someone I could just talk to, do those girly stuff together ( my sis hates them) and just spend a bit of girl time together (: The guys took good care of me when Kaiwen was all over the place, helping out & ensuring that they party was smooth and I really appreciate it. And yes, it was good talking to most of them individually, kinda like getting to them even better though we hang quite often.

But the best that came out of everything was being able to see another side of my boy. The family boy side, the side where he puts them infront of his own needs just to make sure that everyone is happy & safe. After a whole day of being camera-dude & ensuring everything is going well, he finally gets to plonk himself on the sofa but because he sees his dad taking the broom to sweep the area, he immediately gets up, takes the broom and starts sweeping.
It is really so heartwarming to see that scene & yes, I'm indeed so proud/happy/touched to see that.

Family, the first priority. My first priority. However, after hearing some stuff, I can't help but feel very betrayed? I don't even know what's the word to describe it. When I heard it, all I did was to think of excuses to defend you, something anyone would do for the family but at the same time, I started to doubt you. The thing is, that thought should never ever cross my mind. It's like me breaking one of my own beliefs. Got home & so many questions came popping in my head, I was so tempted to just get them off my chest & to get the desired answer I wanted but I just couldn't do so. I don't want to find out -  if you did so or not.

I think it is true that Love, changes people. Well, I'm talking about change in a good way. I'm honestly amazed at how far I stretch my limits to & if my 15 year old me, took a ride in the time machine & saw the current me, she would prolly give me a slap on my face. Hahahah, because I'm just amazed at the how far I go to make sure the people I love are happy. I wouldn't even go that far for myself, as shameless as this whole paragraph sounds, I think I deserve a lil credit & besides, it is good right? Yes, I'll take it as a yes.

Balancing different groups of important people in your life ain't easy, that's something taxing because you can never balance them out fair & square. No 50-50, the best people can do is a 55-45, 40-60 etc. But so, just don't, don't ever take those numbers to heart & always have those numbers be fixed. Like, doesn't mean this group is a 45 that you do things just to settle for a 45. Play those numbers around  but having said so, it's not that easy in reality I guess.

Don't wait till you realize that you've the number fixed & the things you do just/plans you make/every single thing just fits that number perfectly.

Sick Bug

It's a rainy sunday, prolly the best kind of way to end the week & to invite the upcoming week. (:

AND I THINK I CAUGHT THE SICK BUG :( I can't be sick this week, most def not this week.  I wanna welcome my kiddos back to the new term, I've got my lesson to implement & preparations & of course, the long awaited chalet.

Cooping myself in bed waiting for Daddyo to get the ingredients prepped up for Wanton making later, hehs (; good weather, good weather for the day.

Can't wait to see my lil ones tomorrow *heartmelts

Twinkle Twinkle Dee

Just some random visuals I found in my phone while trying to filter/delete/organize them. Getting my mini tasks done now, on sucha wonderful Saturday just made the day even better, like toppings on a chocolate-fudge Sundae, hehs.

So this is how my wonderful Saturday went:

1) Meeting with Society.

Everyone needs a Grace in their life, period. I swear, I have never ever met anyone like Grace (in a good way), someone who puts everyone ahead of her own well-being & making those sweet lil cards/notes for the people around her. This lady here bought Macs for all of us just because we had meeting early in the mornz (: so much love for you Gracey, tell me in advance next time so that I can watch your church performances!!

2) Prata & Frisbee with Kaiwen & Chong Yong.

Whoop whoop, prata craving satisfied at last! Though the first stall we went didn't sell prata (I mean, which Prata Stall doesn't sell Prata right? ITS SO WEIRD) but after the guys had their tummies filled while I drank my Teh-cinno, we went two shops down to have my prata! Had my tissue prata after so long & I couldn't give a twoshit about the oil and what not cause IT WAS JUST SO GOOD!

Then we headed off to the basketball court to play Frisbee! After my first session with the dudes, I gotta admit I'm kinda hooked on it because it's really really fun! And after today's sess, I conclude that I'm a catcher & obviously not a thrower (needs tons of fine-tuning). But despite the heat, it was really good to sweat it out under the sun cause its been so long since I've done sports under the hot sun. It felt good, I honestly like being sweaty and having space to run, jump around. I need to play Frisbee more often, shall press the guys more for Frisbee sess.

3) Dinnz with the bestfriend & the boyfriend.

Yayyy, finally met the bestfriend after so long *happy dance, two more bffs to meet (: So the boy & I walked to SSC from his place to meet Eunice. I love walking with the boy because it's one avenue of talking crap, doing silly stuffs & just talk. Had the famous White BeeHoon & I gotta say, it's really really good! The ngoh hiang was really good too & the jelly drink thingy! The queue was kind insane, there were 20+ people already lining up plus the place was packed. So obviously, the queue & the number of people were good signs that the food is good so, we queued.

It was great chatting & catching up with Eunice after so long and talking bout lame stuff, laughing them off. For a moment, I just felt really happy because I was with two of the people I loved most and that's the best way to end off sucha great day.

So, morning run & some cardio with the guys tomorrow! (;

My minute rant: It's one of my biggest pet peeve to have people rip off your idea/work whatever & add them in their own work. Well, this goes the same for blogs as well. Like c'mon, we were all given a brain with our own unique creativity in it so just use it. You need not copy off here, just to fit in and what not. Do what you like best, do what suits you, your own personal style. If people just go round, being mini-mes of you, then it's kinda like an army of you & it's annoying. Argh people like that, pfftt.

SIMPLE JOY

Nothing better than Simple Joys in life.

Despite being a busy bee this hols & not having all the time I want to myself but nevertheless, I'm still thankful that I find time for the people I love. It's gonna be an amazing September, I can just feel it in my bones.

The reason why most relationships don't last long is that because most couples are just lovers but they're not friends. That the relationship they got engaged in was based only on physical attraction, lust if you want to be brutal. It's like they rushed into a relationship with only their physical admiration for each other not knowing everything that makes a relationship going. So when the physical attraction wore off, nothing held them back together & the tendency is for them to break up. So, just like everyone else is saying, it is better if a couple was not just lovers, but friends as well. So while looking for that someone you wanna give your heart to, you're not just going to find a girlfriend/boyfriend in their being, you're also looking for a bestfriend. It's not just about hitting two birds in one stone, it's your heart & happiness that's at stake here.

And I can't emphasis how darn glad I am to have him as my boyf but also my bestf. XX, you mean the universe to me sweetheart.

Appreciative.

Just felt very very appreciative today. Y'know its those moments where you feel so thankful for every single thing around you & you can't help but feel super blessed.

I think that one way to keep a relationship going is :
to be more appreciative.

Till date, I'm really really thankful for Kaiwen & I appreciate every single thing he does for me, for us.

No, they're not those big-wow things you see in the movies or american dramas, neither are they like those you see on Tumblr (okay, he does some of them. Gotta give him credit for that). No, they are those simple, little gestures he does from the bottom of his heart. Things he genuinely wants to do.

Out of all the many things he does, the one thing that I'm really grateful for is: Listening.

I came across an article today about Listening vs Hearing & it got me thinking. How often do people actually listen?

Two words with somewhat similar meanings yet most of the time used incorrectly.

Listening: to give attention with the ear ; pay attention

Hearing: the act of perceiving a sound.

He doesn't sit beside me & just nod his head acting like he is listening. But he listens. He sits there patiently while I ramble & go on and on about my rants and what not. Its kinda amazing how he does it, without any form of interruption or squirming in his seat. He just sits there & listen. And once I'm done (he must be sighing in relieve), he gives me a hug, depending on the situation, and gives me the best advice or shares with me his perspective.

I always cut him off as he speaks (That's a very very very horrible habit of mine & i'm so guilty of that) but he just lets me finish or sometimes cuts me too & then continues.

I appreciate how serious he takes my words instead of brushing them off, as a girl, it means so darn much because we girls, are emotional beings & we want someone to hear us.

Alongside all those, I'm very appreciative of the little surprises he has for me, the little gifts (bought or handmade), how he places my interest first (he was so thirsty after Frisbee & bought a bottle of water but instead drinking it first, he made sure I drank it before he drank it).

He makes sure that I'm always involved in the group no matter what he does. Even if we're playing sports, he always makes sure that I'm not left out and takes the time out to teach me when he can be playing with his friends.

I guess now I'm so absorbed with love that I feel so invincible. Hahah just like Wonderwoman, hahaha. As much as I love practicums, I also look forward to the end of everyday esp on days when I'm gonna meet him.

"It's like an adventure" - a phrase we always use when we long-text each other. And indeed, it's like an adventure that we unfold together, over time. Any place, any time as long he's there, it's an adventure.

The second thing I'm grateful for is: the fact that he knows me so darn well. Apart from our telepathy in answer & n WA, he knows what to do esp when I sink into many different emotion states. When I have my needy episodes, he knows from my gaze & asks " You feeling needy? " Then he comes to me & gives me a huge hug & allows me to lie on his chest and hug him till I feel okay. And to top everything off, he gives me forehead kisses to make me feel even better.

I'm growing so attached to him, it should be a good thing right? Hehehe I'm just kidding bby, it is a good thing hehs.

Yeah I did, for the past 3 years, I was. And I'm glad that my daily prayer was answered.

I don't know if it is because he was a dream come true after so darn long & after so much bullshit we went through that I cherish him so so much, but yes, I cherish him truckloads.

He plays along when I'm my super nonsensical self, he doesn't grumble when I take tons of photos (sometimes he asks for them but 95% of the time its me), he always tries his best to fulfil things that I've been dying to do (like watching Disney movies or those girly things I like), though he goes "huhhh *shows the Must-I face he still does so (I think he secretly likes doing them hehehe).

I know that I'm safe when I'm with him. Always.

I can be my full 300% self with him but yet we bring the best out of each other. Love you qt!

 Tadah! There you go guys, my hansum boy (;

SNUGGLY/CUDDLY

Ahh, finally some time to blog! The weather's really really good right now & I finally have the time to get some of my To-do list checked. Been really busy of the late due to Practicum ( 3 more weeks before it ends ) & the annoying tasks attached to it.

After much procrastination, I've finally transferred all my photos & vids into my lappy, FINALLY.

*The usage of the word: Finally, will be used many times because these are the things I've been wanting to do but yeah, procrastination gets the best of me.

____________________________________________

AND YES, SUPER OVERDUED COLOURRUN VISUALS.
____________________________________________

I can't stop looking & laughing at my "uni-brows". The boy & the guys kept laughing at them too, hahah! I have no idea how the powder makes my brows sort of connect & how they emphasize so much on my brows. Prolly that's the reason why I don't put make-up. But these photos are just a mere fraction of the fun that we had & its time like these when I secretly wished I had a 24/7 camera-man with me. So that I can get all these moments captured, especially those super candid & spontaneous ones. It would be a lesser hassle to actually get everyone to freeze or re-enact that scene.

 My daily routine during Prac
It's not those boring & tiring "job" as what most of you may imagine but it's actually really fulfilling & it's a joy to see those lil ones running to you & giving you huge, gigantic hugs. //heart melts & gushing moment.

It would be the most ideal holiday job for me if not for the Tasks, Implementation, Lesson Plans attached to it.

7.50 : Heading to the Kindergarten sector to get my attendance signed, quick morning chat with my teachers, leaving a morn text for my boy & heading to the child-care sector.

(The kindergarten & childcare are two different buildings(?), well sort of, they are 100m apart.)

8.00: Greeting the teachers there, the daily "Good Morning Ms Ernchi" this repeats about 7 times, depending on the number of children there & then morning chats with my kids.

8.10-8.30 : Making sure the children have their breakfast, hugs from Sofia, story-telling sess for those kids who are done or any other activity to keep the occupied.

8.40: Mini lesson time with Mdm Rainah with the nursery children.

-  Mondays; discussion with the children on the theme they would like for the week. Followed by Kinderdance from an external instructor. Kinda like children's ballet!

- Tuesdays; Building with Leggo

- Wednesdays; Creative Art

- Thurdays; Discovery & Science Experiments

- Fridays; Food making

9.40: Nursery children start packing up & prepare to head to the kindergarten sector for classes.

10.00: Nursery children start lessons, while I either stay with them or head over to the K2 area to help with their concert practice. Those kiddos can really shake their bumbums & have some swag moves (; Hahaha it's really cute to see them dance & what not.

For the whole of last week, I got them involved with the decorations of the classroom & they were handy-helpers! They kept asking "Ms Ernchi, can I help you?" "Is there anything I can do?" Awww, what a helpful bunch! Even after telling them that I had nothing left for them to do, they kept finding little jobs for themselves, like throwing the paper, stacking the paper, pasting the little bits etc.

11.50: Get them to wear shoes, take their belongings & sing the goodbye song.

12.00 - 12.50: Lunch break. Chit-chatting sess with Ms Maya & of course, getting some work done.

12.50 - 1.00: Get ready for my darling K1s.

1.00 - 1.10: Welcoming my favourite kiddos in for class, greeting them, hearing about their stories & singing the national anthem.

1.10 - 1.20: Attendance taking & getting them to the washroom

1.20 - 2.00: Mother Tongue class. I always stay with the Malay class because Ms Maya is teaching & also to pick up some Malay along the way.

2.00 - 3.00: Lessons with the kiddos & activities in between. This is where I get my daily dosage of love from my kiddos, esp Gethro, Alexander, Kedrick, Sharah, Yong Zhi. All the hugs & kisses, hehs! And mind you, these lil dudes may only be 5 but they sure do have tons of tricks up their sleeves, bet they're gonna knock the socks off girls in time to come. Hahahah!

3.30: Snack time & my daily afternoon talks with Yong Zhi about what he ate at home because that fussy picker doesn't take snacks. I'm always very interested in what these kids have at home & you'll be amaze at what their parents cook/feed them.

4.00: Completing their schoolwork, drawing or indoor activities.

4.50: Preparing to go home.

5.00: Saying goodbye & sending them out of school.

These is the rough timetable but in between there are just too many small funny/cute/heart-melt incidents with them & you'll smile whilst thinking about them.

Children are angels from heaven.

Breakkie, the boy & I made at his place yesterday. So apparently, it was Teacher's Day yesterday & we got a day-off! What better way to spend my only off day with the boy (: Went to his place early in the mornz to crash with him, the weather was just too good. Snuggly, cuddly weather!

Spent an hour at least making breakfast for us & his sissy. Then lepak in his room watching vids & what not till Cuen came over. Played with the plyssa beads (I'm starting to get hooked onto it) & entertain myself while the dudes were watching some basketball anime thingy, pfft guys being guys. Prepared & headed out to meet rest for dinnz @ Chomp Chomp! :D

Been craving so badly for it that I told Kaiwen to ask the clique along for some good yum yums! Never a dull, boring trip with the guys (: Settled for wings, hokkien mee, Stingray, veg, cockles, sotong & huge mugs of sugarcane! A very satisfying dinner :D headed back to Yishun to play some frisbee & its been awhile since I played it. Found the joy in it after so long & it was satisfying knowing that I kinda got the hang of it quickly (; I'm more of a catcher than a thrower but it was all good.

Many impromptu meet-ups with the boy this week & it was really great ending my days with him. (: Hehehe so much love for the boy & the things he does! Stoked for chalet this weekend, waking up to the boy, morning bliss (:

xoxo.
