Inkling in my toes.

I meant to post this on Wednesday night but I was too caught up with work & my body was rioting against my decision to sleep late.

This whole week was packed really tightly but of course, I got to have my fair share of fun too with the boy so all's good (:

July: ASSIGNMENT-PACKED MONTH.

I have 9 assignments dued, okay 8 to be exact because 1 was submitted yesterday! Whoohoo *happy dance

Just took a peak at my calendar & I was on the verge of fainting because practically everday was filled with some school-related thing, sighpie. God, please give me the strength to pull through such an exhausting month ahead for me.

Quick sum up of the past week.

Mon.

Skipped morn lecture because I was late so I went to look for Chong yong & had a study sess with him. He left for class but came back to have lunch with me & then I headed for classes. Study sess with cy are super productive always! (: Then the boy &  Ming tze came to school to look for us && we headed off to yishun for some good chicken rice. It was so good, pretty much comfort food to such a tiring day.

Side note: Grace came to surprise me with a motivational note & yogurt while I was lunching with cy. Swear it made my day, always super grateful for having someone like Grace. I love you Gracey!

Tues.

Gave school a miss because lessons on that day weren't important and I had work to be due that week so obviously I would rather get work done then attend a day of lessons. Got macs for us and then studied the whole noon. Amazingly, it went really well. Cause in the past, our study sess always failed someway or another but this time was really productive. Apart from the fact that he kept walking around to get water. Took a break in the late noon by playing Sims & watching shows on my lappy!

Wed.

Lessons ended at 1-ish so we decided to head to town for a movie date (: Heehee, got us so stoked like lil kiddos. Swear it was like a budget date because we bought a big packet of purple carrot juice & sushi in. It was super funny because Kai kept crumpling the plastic bag in the cinema & it was so embarrassing! Could've died that moment. Hahaha but the movie was really good! Felt like a breather for me because I was really worried & over-whelmed by the workload the past week.

I'm honestly worried, like very worried. About many things like, due dates, lack of time to complete them, lack of time to prepare for the exams & at the same Exco stuffs to do. It kinda feels like I've too much on my plate but knowing myself, I always have these sort of panic attacks, worst case scenarios painted in my head and all. Gosh, such a worrier I am. Guess this is where all my time-management skills come into place. 

Thurs.

Had back to back lectures for the day & headed to Gardens By the Bay with Pheebs & Fatimah to get stuff for our project. The weather wasn't exactly on our side because it was gloomy, boo to that & the it wasn't exactly the best weather to take photos either :( But it was quite a productive sess I would say because we got a small part of work done & got our schedules worked out. We can do this guys, hang in there! :D

Rushed over to the library to grab my book for Friday's CRC tuts & went home to complete my instrument.

My course is really fun actually & my favourite module is CRC. It compromises of both the art & music drama. So for the art class, we actually do coolio stuff like using chalk to draw on campus walls & floors, use shaving cream & food colouring to make pretty prints and such. As for music & drama, we sing alot of songs and play games/have activities which are really really fun which requires us to show the kid within us.

And so, for my tut assignment, we had to make an instrument from scratch. My initial idea was to make a tambourine but due to time constraint & the effort needed, I ended up making this bell-sound shaker.

I went to the coffeeshop at my gram's to ask the uncle for some beers cap, opened the skirting around it, place it inside two container covers, seal it up & then making holes in the covers for the sound to sound sharper.

Pretty satisfied with my production despite it ate a big block of my time away.

Fri.

Lessons were amazingly fun because for PEC tuts we had charades role-play & then because attendance wasn't so great, we had a sing-along sess with Ms Nadia. Then for CRC we sang songs and all as usual. Met Kai & cy, did some work & then had Sakae with almost the whole clique. I was lost for words seeing them eat, omg I swear they eat SO MUCH. Look at their fit bodies then you look at how much they ate, you wouldn't have believed it. They ate so much for the buffet that I think we pissed of the staff there hehs. But their service wasn't exactly good either.

Went off for Exco meeting which went really well! (: Apart from the mocking I got, hahah. Thanks bby, cy & ah Ming for waiting for me! Bused back to yishun & headed back home. Had a good long talk with kai & it was good, in fact it was therapeutic for me. One of my fave stuff to do with him, sit down & talk.

Thank you love for accompanying me till late at night while I was doing my work despite you having morn lessons & for sucha good week (: so blessed to have you & every single day, I thank God for you.
