Sup guys! A super lengthy + visual-sy post coming your way, so please bear with me. Up till now, I have issues with uploading my photos from my Iphone to the lappy :( Whenever I have my phone plugged into the lappy, the phone icon (Iphone users, you get what I'm talking about right) doesn't appear & I can't share my photos with you guys. Only if I'm lucky, which happens like once in 2 months or something, the icon appears and tonight happens so to be one of my lucky nights kekeke.
So this post will pretty much be a mix of old visuals & this week's since I'm sharing my walnut shell week with you all! :D
[YEAR END CONCERT WITH MY KIDDOS] as promised.
My favourite trio.
They were all so stoked, jumpy & extremely noisy on our way to RP! Wished I could take vids/photos of every moment & share it with you guys though because I felt so extremely egg-cited and really really happy, somewhat like I was gonna perform too. But yes, these angels made the teachers & especially me very proud (': Every single one of you owned the stage and I couldn't be anymore impressed by you lil ones. Small figures with either dashing/beautiful faces putting in your 100% in the performance and all of you wore one common thing and that was ---your genuine smile. I swear, I was like one proud Mama on that day. Like those Mums who rush or block the people behind just to take a 10 sec clip of my child & take out a piece of tissue to wipe those tears away. HAHAHAH NAH I KID, THAT'S SO DRAMA MAMA!
And Adam came up to me to have a photo taken too! He was sucha sweetheart that day because he became my assistant for calling those who needed to put on make-up and touch up but also help me kept everyone quiet. This boy was so vain that he came up to me every 15 mins telling to spike his hair higher or to apply more make-up on him, hahaha.
Did I mention how he loved taking photos?
Me walking around snapping photos of the kids
Adam: Ms Ernchi, cheeesseee *strikes pose
Let me see! Let me see! *jumps up & down
Me bends down to show him photo (refer to pic.1)
Adam *smiles to himself, take one more can?
*strikes pose, rushes to me (refer to pic.2)
Adam: Danni block me! Take again! Last one okay? Pleaseeee
(he shows me those two big mesmerizing eyes, now how can I say no to them?)
*same pose for all three pictures, HAHAHAHA too cute already
*see photo, huge ass smile (refer to pic.3)
Adam: THANK YOU MS ERNCHI, I LOVE YOU *throws me big bear hug & kiss on my lips

1. FRY-DAY: Stayhome with my boy!
Met Tabin @ the bus stop as always //sidenote: OUR TIMETABLES DON'T REALLY MATCH, SO BIN,KHAI & I CAN'T HAVE OUR BUS RIDES MORNZ LIKE BEFORE :( BOOOO
And so, I was suppose to head to school for tuts but while I was walking to the interchange, I just didn't feel like heading for tuts since it was only for 2 hours so I decided to make a detour to the boy's! Super impromptu but as always, our impromptu arrangements always work out somehow. Cuddled in bed, really great for a Friday mornz before making breakkie! :D
Toast + Scrambled Eggs + Bacon + Ham + Milk = SATISFYING BREAKKIE
All whipped up my Chef Chang, hehehe figured I should prepare them since Kaiwen was always the one prepping! So I did all the frying (which was 75% of everything) and he did the toasting & pouring of milk.
I don't know if it is out of habit or curiosity but I always catch myself observing him. The big things to the littlest, tiny things, I find myself looking. And boy are they mesmerizing. Watching him in full admiration, I kinda like doing that.
Then watched tv, before just lazying around, doing nothing & talking.
Ah yes, cuddling session part two hehs the weather was too good.
Then we were hungry & I decided to cook Pasta for us! (:
Self-proclaim: I think I make good wife material cause there's this saying " The way to get to a man's heart is through his stomach" and I'm doing a really great job in that aspect!
My qt.
I love you so darn much best boyfie in the entire galaxy! Muah! One night, I forgot which night, while we were waiting for 969, we were talking about the past, the periods where we were alone, like literally alone without each other. Not talking, not texting, not meeting. Just living our own lives. I found out how we mutually missed each other, how we didn't have the courage to text/call each other (I always dialed but didn't press the call button ; he always drafted a text but didn't press the send button) Pretty much sounds likea drama.
But most importantly, I realized how we didn't cherish/appreciate each other & we didn't want each other enough (or at least I felt that I did). And for him, he took me for granted. (Just saying bby, still love you many many hahahah)
Though we took a really long time (2 years plus), we went in many many circles, went through a holly-macaroni vicious cycle, had many arguements when it didn't work out and it was so so terrible for us ; mentally taxing and heartbroken me, but I'm honestly glad that it happened.
Yes, I really am. I was telling Kaiwen how it was all these ordeals, challenges, super long time periods away from each other that made us how we are right now.
No fights/arguements (as of now & none to come hopefully), we pretty much talk things out when we have our different views/thoughts etc, we compromise, we understand, we respect, we love & not hate, we always show how much we appreciate each other and of course, the little things we do for each other.
We thank each other most of the time, not because that we are so formal with each other but it acts as a reminder to always be thankful and show appreciation for what he/I did. Yes, they are as simple as "thank you so much" but in a long run, it means alot. It adds on to our love tank, making sure that it is never run low.
Our first main, most important "value" is: TO BE HAPPY & HAVE FUN.
Isn't it important? To be happy, enjoy every single moment & have tons of fun! I think we spend 98% of our time together just having fun. They pretty much consist of goofing around, doing silly things, letting out the inner-kid in us and just laugh, laugh, laugh.
So, I'm lovin' how we are right now & I believe that it will only become better as the time passes. " We are the perfect duo " -Ho Kaiwen. You're a blessing, love you!
Boy, were they right about how dashing a man looks in uniform! (;
TOOLS-DAY: MUMSY'S EARLY BIRTHDAY DINNZ
Cause everyone was kinda busy on Mumsy's actual birthday, so I decided to cook up an early birthday dinnz for her a day before.
On the menu: prawns aglio olio, salad, mash-potato, bacon bits & honey lemon baked chicken.
I know how hard mummy works every single & still rushes back home just to cook dinnz for us without fail every single day. Even if she has stuff on at night, she preps them in the morning so all we have to do is to heat it up & dinnz is served. I never understood why she does so because it's troublesome, tiring and inconvenient plus it doesn't help that Daddy complains about them. So I wondered, "why bother then?"
And I found out why. Because all she wants is for us to eat a proper, healthy meal at home because she says that outside food is unhealthy and it is important to eat proper meals. So Monday to Friday, rice, veg, two meat dishes & soup. My mummy's a superhero.
I always wanted to be able to run up to my mum & give her random hugs or even say " I LOVE YOU MUMMY!" I always dream of Mother-Daughter dates but perhaps because of my family culture, I find it hard to do so. There are so many things I would like to tell her but something stops me from doing so. So, I don't really know how to express my love to her & the only ways I do so is through little actions, thanking her, saying how delicious her food is when my dad makes a fuss (but they are really delicious) etc.
I was really really so happy when I saw a smile on her face when she saw me prepping dinnz half way and when it was all laid out on the table. I nearly teared when she said "thank you for the hard work" hahaha yes, emotional me.
WET-NEST-DAY: PHOTOSHOOT WHOOP WHOOP
Accidental OOTD with Rachel! (:
I finally got the chance to relieve my childhood dream to be a model!!!!!
Hahaha, I swear I was so darn happy when I got the call, notifying me that I was selected to be part of the photoshoot //nearly died inside
Kekeke, I always wanted to be a model because I L.O.V.E the camera & how I can do all the silly shit on cam and I can snap snap snap! But obviously, in reality I can't because I'm too short. Pffttt. 5 more cm to being eligible to be a model :(
Because I was so stoked for it, I went shopping just to find a nice, bright-coloured, cheerful dress for the shoot! Apparently, my dresses are all dull colours so good excuse to go shopping. And I found the perfect dress, thanks to Kaiwen's sis! Yayyy thank you Jie Jie!
I went into the LT & I was a lil nervous cause I didn't know anyone there and then Rachel stepped into the LT! So glad that I had someone I know throughout the whole shoot with me and it made the entire photoshoot even more fun.
Though we had to wait for a long long long time but I was kinda glad that Rachel & I clicked really well and I got to know alot more about Rachel (: She's one of the more spontaneous, dares to be herself, infectious ball of laughter & happiness person I've met. Thank you for making the photoshoot even more memorable & fun. Best first experience!
THE PROCESS
Initially, we were grouped up randomly for group shots. So luckily Rachel & I were in the same group and we made friends with the other people as well. They were really nice to prepare food for us, hehs. Group shots were relatively easy because it was less awkward taking in a group than a solo picture esp in the middle of Munch where everyone walks pass. Thankfully, the two guys with us were very friendly and funny so we were having fun while shooting.
We had a three hour break before individual shoot and it was just finding stuffs to do to kill time.
Then solo shoots. Though I thought that maybe we would do it in a studio but noooo, they had to pick a corner in Munch to do it and it was so awkward. When it was my turn, the photographer said "Freestyle" and in my mind I was like "whuuutttt" so I just did the poses that I could think of. Hahhaha after awhile, I got comfortable infront of the camera and I started acting really silly! Flipped hair, random poses & it was really fun cause I was laughing 70% of the time! But it was sucha good experience, one thing to check of my list!
Sadly, they said they couldn't email us the photos we took when I asked if they could :( I would honestly want to see them. But oh wells hahahah!
Random shot that Kaiwen took on our way to dinnz! Hahah!
AND THAT'S MY WEEK IN A WALNUT SHELL!
XX.
