Countdown to Aussie: 2 MORE DAYS!! And I really cannot wait for Sunday night to come & I can go out & explore another city & soak in all the energy over there. Two more days & I have yet pack my luggage and get the stuffs I need for Aussie, the bleah-sides of travelling - PACKING & UNPACKING. But I think I better get started before I start panicking and end up not bringing the things I need for the next 10 days.
Did a lil research on Gold Coast & hopefully the weather will stay from 20 degrees to 24 degrees! The kind of weather you don't need to wrap yourselves up like a sushi neither do you sweat like crazy. Hopefully shorts will be the best attire for the weather there! As I did my research, I also went a lil window shopping & already got my eyes set on some clothes, shoes and bags which hopefully are cheaper than in SG, hehehe.
Was told that the moment we touch down and head to our apartment (hopefully there's Wifi), we'll be going to a nature adventure park! Kinda like OBS but cooler! Walking on zip-lines, flying-foxes etc and I really can't wait to try all the coolio activities in stored! YAY ITS FINALLY COMINGGGG. The thing I love about traveling is to be able to soak up every drop of the nature, environment and culture there, take good photos (hopefully), shop a lil, throw everything aside & just enjoy myself.
1. 6TH MONTH.
Yayy, it's our 6th! I can't believe that it's been 6 months because it only felt like a few weeks and I thoroughly enjoyed myself every single minute with the boy, I love you sweetie! We don't exactly have the culture of celebrating monthsaries apart from a sweet long text on that day but I just thought it'll be cool to do a lil something to celebrate it since its December, my favourite month, and it means something to me. I'll blog about #PROJDEC, a mini proj that I've been talking about & the behind-the-scenes of the making of #PROJDEC.
So, today we decided to have an early celebration - just a simple day out since we'll both be away on the 16th. Headed over to Kaiwen's in the mornz to surprise him with the gifts that I prepared before heading to Waffletown for some good waffles! (: I think Waffletown is kinda like our place now, I can never get sick of the waffles there.
Then we headed to HV & lepaked at my Grandma's cause we were gonna have dinnz with her & we were kinda in the afternap-mode. The boy took a nap while I watched my shows then we carried out our " Monthly Adventures for 2014" & then played those good old games like Dominoes and Jenga (: Not a bad way to just chill the noon away.
Had dinnz cooked by my Grandma & it was fan-tabulous as usual, homecooked food is ze best. And then accompanied her to the mobile-clinic a street away for her weekly check-up. Before heading home, we got ourselves some Churros & it was so so so good! Though it wasn't to Kaiwen's liking cause he's a savoury lover while I've a sweet tooth but it was good!
So, our "Monthly Adventures for 2014" goes like this:
1. We each write 6 activities (total of 12 activities for the year) which we really wanna do with each other monthly. We label each mini envelope, which we made ourselves, the months of the year.
2. We fold our slips of paper and random place them in the envelopes. One per envelope & seal it up. Lastly, we take turns picking an envelope till we each have 6 envelopes each.
3. So, the 1st of every month, the person who owns the envelope of that month will open the envelope and see what activity we have to complete in that month! It doesn't involve complicated lists of things to do but just that one activity.
For example:
MARCH, visit the zoo.
So, in the month of March, we have to complete this activity & this goes on for every month! KEKEKE IM ALREADY SO EGG-CITED FOR 2014 TO COME!!
In the meantime, enjoy your December hols & Christmas (: CANT WAIT FOR AUSSIE!!
P/s: I'm gonna miss you like crazy baby, please take care kay? More in the letters (;
