Just the way I like it.
I figured that weekends are much more enjoyable when you decide to have it at your own pace. Either taking your time to enjoy what you're currently doing on hand, enjoying the entire process or challenging yourself to a quicker pace.
For me, I prefer the former.
I'd like to spend my Saturdays being productive and at the same time, enjoying the process of doing so. Ticking things off my to-do list whilst savouring every moment of completing them. Since I'm already racing against time from Monday to Friday, so why not slow down time and really enjoy myself over the weekends.
(sketching design ideas for #PROJDEC'14)
SATURDAY'S TO-DO(s):
1// Bake cream puffs and souffle (Daddy's request)
2// Internship work:
- User Guide Design
- Resume
- Portfolio
- Report
[The amount of work to be done is rather scary.]
3// Experiment ideas and prints for #PROJDEC'14
Really excited about the process of experimenting the paint ideas and other cool stuffs I saw online.
I decided to give my locks a new shade on Wednesday. Was rather afraid of how red would look on me hence I decided on highlighting my hair red to see how it'll go. It was those super outstanding sort of red because I'm still working but it's red enough under the sun. There wasn't plenty of difference in my hair colour like how I expected it to be due to my previous brown hair though but it's good enough for now.
I get really excited everytime I head to the salon because it means I'm coming out with a new look or I'm gonna get pampered.
Good enough look for Halloween HAHAHA. I get so fascinated by the work hair stylists do and all the weird UFO-looking machine.
I'm proud to announce, the end of cutting & laminating the cards and other stuffs for our FYP. YES, NO MORE CUTTING!! After weeks and weeks of cutting & laminating, it has proven one theory, "Practice makes perfect."
It is true. I started off cutting the cards and all with a pair of scissors. Then I was introduced to the big ass cutter which my DAS Girls & I were rather intimidated by. The cutter blades were sharp and there's no turning back once you pull down the blade. As days pass, I started to get the hang of cutting on the lines instead of outside/inside the lines.
And I got swifter and swifter. Hahaha and right now, I'm one with the cutter (forever bursting into laughter after I say this line hahaha). I can go really fast and still ensure it's precise, action a lil bit cause it's really not easy to pick this up within a short period of time & the amount of stuffs we cut is really cray. We prolly have 10 odd of trashbags filled mainly with paper.
Met Cloe for lunch on Thursday and brought her to my new favourite Jap food place, queen of all sushi (in my opinion), M A K I S A N !!!!! This place is heaven because you can customize your very own sushi with all the ingredients that you love. Most def worth the price because the sushi sizings are way larger than usual & it is really filling.
Little San is good to fill your belly & Mega San is good to burst your buttons HAHA. Always experiencing food coma after a Mega San.
Looking forward to our shopping trip on Monday, shop till we drop!
Oh yeah oh yeah! I just had my first llao llao on Tuesday when I went over to SP hehe. No need to queue somemore. It was really filling, overall rather delicious and it's a good meal to fill those hunger pangs in between meals. BUT no way am I gonna queue for 30 mins just for this hahahaha so visiting SP in the evening seems like a good plan.
Sighhhhh, can't stop sighing this entire mornz despite the good vibes I'm feeling. Kai's studying for his MSTs and I won't be able to see my lover till Friday (i think). Didn't manage to meet him much the past week either except for Tues when I accompanied him & Cuen to study and yesterday when we took the same train home cause I was in JE.
The entire paragraph above is good enough to show how bad I am with separation. I can't imagine how I'll be like when he's in NS. And as of now, I'm keeping myself busy so that the week will fly by in a flash.
Sighhhhhhhh. Hahaha I think I sigh-ed more than 15 times just now when I was on the phone with Kai. Had several "heart-squeezes" when we ended the conversation :(
Aites, am gonna start on baking while everyone is out for lunch!
XX.
