Tree Top Walk

Hehe, hello there! Not sure why but I just wanted to update this space with some recent happenings. Missed you my first internet journal (': I feel a lil foreign because it's been a while since I've last blogged and I might not commit to this but I just wanted to be back. (*inhales the aroma of cookies, hehe baking choco-chip cookies right now!)

After being busy for a few weekends, we finally had the time to head out and breathe in some fresh air on a nice Sunday morning! (: It felt so so sooo good to be out in Mother Nature's embrace and spending quality time together, not on work, not running errands but just being with each other. We had various discussions about life, friends, things we've observed, the other visitors of the park & our future. We did silly antics and laughed till we were breathless. It was a good getaway from work and school. We've been on more nature hikes this year and I'd hope to make it at least a monthly thing.

With more adulting commitments on both our hands, nothing-to-do weekends are now a big luxury for us. There are weekends where Kai and I take turns to be swamped with essays and school work, some weekends are only of us being busy and some weekends are errands and events weekends. Currently as of now, staying home and doing activities together, just being in our bubble are our fave ways to spend the weekend.

In a blink of an eye, we're 3/4 done with 2019. Where did all the time go? After turning 21, somehow time seems to scoot by a lil way faster than I hope. But just like every year, it's filled with a different kind of adventure, highs, lows and lil moments. That's why, I feel that every year is special in its own way, shaped by the different milestones. This year's leaned towards the 'stepping out of my comfort zone' theme and it has made me grow so much. In terms of being more self-reliant, independent and having the balls to stay firm on my stand instead of going along with peers, in fear of missing out and being different. This year, I stayed more true to myself and this process allowed me to sieve through friendships and cherish the genuine and authentic ones. Cookies are done whoop! In the midst of the hustle, I'd like to come here a lil more often before the year ends.

xx.
